How We Help
Volunteers Involved in Development Abroad is a humanitarian organization committed to helping developing nations by providing volunteers, supplies and monetary donations. VIDA has participated in humanitarian projects all over the world.
Some past VIDA projects include:
- ~ Building a hospital annex in Narganá (An island off the coast of Panama)
- ~ Providing medical assistance to the impoverished city of Juliaca in the Peruvian Andes.
- ~Taught courses on public health, dental hygiene, and preventative healthcare in the Mexican state of Puebla.

Our Mission
Volunteers Involved in Development Abroad assists grassroot organizations in developing countries by providing volunteers, supplies and monetary donations. We recognize the importance of maintaining cultural values of the people in the country and seek to help those who are making an effort to improve their community. VIDA seeks to connect students and professionals from different countries to provide an exchange of ideas in order to help communities and families.
VIDA is a student-run organization and currently only has volunteer staff. Because VIDA is a 501 c 3 organization, all donations are considered tax-exempt.
